Rock Carvings in Qatar
Contains 22 items, last updated on 05/14/08
This weekend I went out with Lallah, Dr. Marvin Rowe and his wife Kathleen to find some rock carvings. We were near Fuwairit at the top tip of the peninsula. The rock carvings are said to be several thousand years old. We had quite a hunt for them since the directions were "Pass the turnoff and turn right at the signpost. Follow the road to a deserted village and head right into the desert." It was a good day....at least we found them!
